But, for too many of us, a meaningful job seems like a pipe dream. A new Gallup poll, for instance, rates employee engagement across industries as depressingly low. So what, exactly, would help us escape the huge funk we seem to be in? Working for a company that accepts and nurtures difference is a good start — a company where we're encouraged to utilize our own unique talents. Chances (and choices) to grow in a meaningful way would also bump up engagement levels. As would the elimination of stupid rules and policies. Does that sound like your company? One can only hope...
